Frankie Fed began honing his skills in Federici’s kitchen as a teenager, perfecting the art of the distinctive “tomato pie”. By his twenties, he was crafting new dishes and contributing daily specials to the menu, showcasing his creativity and passion for food. Around the same time, he met and married hometown girl Mary Lynn Pezold. Mary Lynn quickly became an integral part of the family business, taking on roles as hostess, waitress, bartender – and even pizza maker.

On February 1, 1997, Frank and Mary Lynn launched their own venture: Frankie Fed’s Pizza & Pasta House. The restaurant quickly earned a loyal following, delighting guests with its welcoming friendly service, signature Fed’s pizza, and irresistible homemade dishes.

In 2022, following his graduation from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, fourth-generation family member Matthew Federici took over the helm of Frankie Fed’s from his uncle, Frankie, and aunt, Mary Lynn. Backed by a talented team and a deep well of industry knowledge, Matt has continued to elevate the restaurant’s reputation—introducing fresh ideas while honoring the cherished classics that have defined the Frankie Fed’s experience for over 25 years.

While much has evolved over the years, one thing remains unchanged: the Federici family’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional food, outstanding service, and great value.
